A downloadable asset pack

Welcome to the first part of a new project to create diverse character sprite and portraits to allow developers and creators everywhere to make their dreams a reality!

Since most assets here tend to predominantly pale-skinned, I wanted to create a set of characters that allow for more diverse representation so everyone can play a character they relate with.

In this pack you get:

  • A PSD file including all assets used in creating these characters
  • 1 body pose with 3 skin types
  • 2 different hair styles in ebony and grey
  • 12 facial expressions with 2 eye colors gold and silver
  • 7 different nose styles to further customize your characters
  • 6 Outfits  + 1 Underwear with shoes you can mix and match
  • 35 Character Portraits for Cher in 750 x1200 sizes
  • 24 Character Portraits for Diana in 750x1200 sizes
  • A quick Krita recoloring tutorial for those that want to recolor

This sprite can be used for personal use or commercial projects (games, videos, and other transformative media) but you cannot resell the sprite on its own, as part of a pack, or as an included item in a character creator.

If using these sprite edits, please credit myself in your game. My permission is not necessary to use these sprites and notification is requested as a courtesy.

All sprites were made with Krita which is a free art program that is a great option for those that can't afford photoshop.

If you have any suggestions for new projects, please feel free to comment here, contact me via email or via my DeviantArt at https://www.deviantart.com/jclaudee.

I accept commissions and take requests as I am able.

Stay tuned for more!

I loved your characters but my pc doesn't support photoshop, could you make your characters available in PNG, please?

I think it's better to not refer to African Americans as "chocolate". It's pretty offensive.
